Aquarium-Club was initially started in 1995, by Will Griffin, who has been raising and breeding rare tropical fish since 1964, when he joined his maternal grandmother and his father in learning to keep and breed tropical fish with multiple fish tanks. As a way to safely exchange fish and eggs, notably of killifish, Aquarium-Club was initially a small folder and section of Will's personal web page, listing fish wanted by him and killifish friends and as a way of listing fish/eggs which were available. With over 45 years of experience in keeping and breeding tropical fish, Will Griffin and the other professional members of Aquarium have steadily grown this online labor of level as an extension of their hobby and desire to see others to achieve the same success and enjoyment from their fish tanks. Will Griffin has written many articles relating to tropical fish from not only his personal hobby experience, but as a lab assistant to former TFH Magazine Editor Mr. Marshall Ostrow, when he was a graduate student at the University of Pittsburgh, studying the population genetics and speciation process of the Fundulophanchax Gardneri killifish. He has been and continues to be a member of various aquarium societies and fish study/conservation groups. Although he has always continued his affinity for killifish, Will has successfully bred and raised many various species/strains of barbs, danios, gourami, rainbowfish, tetras, show guppies, champion bettas, angelfish, discus, African cichlids, dwarf cichlids, catfish, sharks, and other groups of aquarium fish, which some said were difficult to do. He has posted his tips, tricks, and advice and remains available to directly assist the grow list of Aquarium-Club members. Today, Aquarium-Club owns more than 25 top search-engine ranking web sites, providing reliable and proven information regarding tropical fish, while also providing a full range of tropical fish and aquarium supplies to Aquarium-Club members and our visitors, who often join Aquarium-Club for more information and greater discounts on fish and supplies.
